Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I moved from New York to Florida. I am currently in a dispute with a homeowners association about my emotional companion dog. I have a letter fro my doctor in New York. The homeowners association will not accept the letter beacuse they claim it is not from a local Florida doctor. Is there any legal way to force the association to accept the letter from the New york doctor?

Isn't it easier to get an appropriate letter from a local doctor? To answer your question short of very expensive litigation, no there is no way to force the association to accept the letter. Also, even after the litigation there is no way to know if it would be successful. Read your association documents, and comply with them and you should not have any problems.
