Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I am moving to a Townhouse Community and I will be renting from the company that owns the property (national brand), they have grouped Cable TV service as a forced amenity. The service is provided by a media provider offering "Direct TV" service. The equipment fees and usage fees are well in excess of "Direct TV's" pricing. Do I have to pay the base rate of $40 for something I will not use?

If the rules for the community require it than yes you likely do have to pay it.
