Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
both names on deed and splitting up
My girlfriend is on my deed (tax bill in both names as owners) but the mortgage is 100% mine. The bank only knows me. We are splitting and there is a fair amount of equity in the home. Neither wants to move out. The funds for the down payment came soley from me. We've been in the house for about 6 months.
What are my options? What do I have to do?

Lawsuit to quiet title and/or partition is needed.
