Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Hi, I have negotiated a deal with my credit union for a Deed In Lieu of foreclosure. I am going to pay them 40,000 and in exchange they will release me from my mortgage and never give me a deficiency judgement. They have prepared the contract for us to sign. But we can't understand it.. is there someone that could read it for us and tell us if it says what they promised to us on the contract. THANKS! we have no money left since we are taking a 40,000 loan to try and wrap this up.

You cannot afford to not hire a real estate attorney to read these documents that you don't understand. Once you sign them, you are stuck with whatever they say, and you will spend many many times more money undoing a mistake.
