Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Noisy Tenant
My neighbor plays his music extremly loud. Another neighbor besides myself has complained to the rental office of my apartment complex. The office promised to write the tenant a letter informing him to lower the music. I don't think they composed that letter.
What right(s) do I have under Florida Law, if any, concerning this annoying matter? The lease I signed promised me a quite dwelling, however, that is not occurring

Re: Noisy Tenant
When a landlord fails to deliver what is promised, a tenant has a right to mail a notice to the landlord of his/her intention to withhold rent. Thereafter, the tenant may begin depositing the rent into the Court Registry. This will definitely get a reaction from the landlord. This is generally a drastic step but you could always just send the notice and see if that gets the desired reaction.
