Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Notice of action from Condo Management

My wife and I own a condo unit in a 55plus community. The articles indicate that in the absence of any of the owners, any occupation in excess of 30 days will be considered a tenancy and appropriate action will be taken. My two sons were in Florida and occupied the condo for one week.

I recently receivcd a letter from the Board of Directors indicating that I have unauthorized persons living in my unit, with a threat of action if such persons are removed.

Re: Notice of action from Condo Management

I assume you mean, "if such persons are NOT removed." So your sons are "removed" now, and it doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about.
