I inherited my mother's condo upon here death in April 2015. Miami Dade Tax appraiser had it valued at $511,570. However, I was only able to sell it for a net (less doc stamps, pro-rated RE taxes and commission) of $435,720 after being on the market for almost a year. Is the $75,850 deductible as a loss?

This is a question for your CPA not a general attorney issue. It likely involves your own personal tax situation as well which obviously is unknown.

Doubt it. Ask your accountant.
