Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
If an Ohio resident purchases a residence in Ohio, but titles the residence in the name of his daughter who is married and a resident of Florida, if the daughter later wishes to retitle the residence through a transfer on death affidavit, does Ohio law govern regarding dowery rights? Or does Florida law govern because the daughter is a Florida resident.
