Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
if the owner above me often floods my unit due to carelessness, such as overflowing the sink, breaking the toilet and not closing the curtain when he showers, what are the obligations of the board to help me? this occurs an average of once a year, although in 2010, it happened 4 times. makes it hard to keep tenants.

You need to sue both the unit owner and the association, since they both owe you a duty to prevent damage to your property. Let them sort out the extent of each other's obligation to fix or replace/repair the damage that has been caused to your unit, including loss of rents. You need to have notes, correspondence, dates, specific instances and facts to prove your case.
