Owners A, B, C & D are joint tenants with right of survivorship. Owner A sells his interest to owner B. What interest does Owner B now have? What interest do Owners C and D now have? And what is their relationship?

Not as easy an answer as you may think. The transfer destroyed the survivorship interest that existed. The transferred interest is now a tenant in common with remaining owners. They may still have survivorship to each other. The transfer from

B owns 1/4 as a joint a tenant in common with C&D, and B, C & D own 3/4 as as joint tenants with r/o/s .
