Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Ownership of house
I live in Florida and owned a house before I was married. I have told him to get out because I found out he has been solicting sex via Email. I have been for almost three years. My parents name and my name is on the house - is he entitled to the house in anyway?

If the house is titled solely in your name, your husband has no claim of ownership unless you somehow made a gift of an ownership interest. Presuming you will be filing for divorce, you should hire an attorney to make sure your legal rights are properly protected.

You need an attorney to sort out all the legal issues confronting you. He probably already has one you don't know about.

While he is not an owner, he may have a lien for expenses. I suggest you retain counsel to investigate. Good luck.
