Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
partition action
Not married, we bought a house in together in 2006.He put in cash 260,000for house and furniture.I put up my credit 320,000(mortgage and subsequently home equity) both in my name only. He is going back to ex-wife. Wants me out. He has been paying all bills by his own choice. Now verbally abusive says he will partition me out and I will owe him 100,000's. What legal rights do I have. Can he do this to me. I have nothing $

Re: partition action
In a partition action, the court determines each parties share based on what they put in. The court will then order a sale. Either party could buy out the other.
