Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Which party owns disputed property

I bought a piece of property that there has been a dispute over for many years. There is a fence on my piece of property, and the other people claim it is theirs. There was a survey done on the property by the people that owned it before me. The survey shows it belongs to me, and the

neighbors know this, but say it is theirs. They do not intend to move the fence. I would like to know what can be done about this as inexpensively as possible.

Suggest you check this out with your county records department. Litigation will be required.

It is clear that no matter what the advice, litigation will ensue. First off, if you have title insurance call the company. If not seek counsel to assist in achieving you goal.

If you merely remove the fence, physical retribution may occur...not good and litigation will follow.
