Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

A person renting a home. He is using the garage for a business to repair jeeps. He gets evicted by a rental agent/landlord. She tells owners of vehicles and parts nothing is in the garage. After finding out our parts were still there. The landlord starts selling them. What is the answer. The tenant has been arrested in another driving one of the vehicles and is charged with theft.

You can file a replevin action against the landlord for return of your parts which were never his to take.
