Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I am POA of my mother’s property in Hendry County. This property is in Trust in her name. I’ve been told she must sign documents even though I have POA. Is this factual?

The terms of the trust would control. If she is trustee and it allows for her POA to act then you probably can. If she is not trustee you have no authorization to act. If the trust requires her to act alone then your POA wont assist. All the paperwork needs to be reviewed by an attorney.
