Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Posting a residential address on a public board

My husband and I live in a Condo in Fl. My husband is employed with the Federal Bureau of Prisons in a town near our home. We have an unlisted phone number.

Condo Assocation: self run By group of owners & consistently breaks it's own by-laws & Chapter 718 of the Florida Statutes.

Problems: Since we have moved in we have approached the Assc. about the way they conduct business, namely the breaking of rules, misspending of monies. Since then we have been the target of many form of harassment. That we can handle this except for one concern: The condo Assc. insists on posting eveyone's name and unit number on a public board in the lobby area of the buildings. The lobby area is an open air area that is accessable by anyone from off the street. We feel this is not only an invasion of privacy but it is a safety issue. We have asked that our names be taken off the board. Each time, it seems as though it reappears after we have questioned one of their actions that break a rule. Thus, our feeling that we are being harassed. We want our name removed from the Board for our own protection A registered letter and several e-mails have not worked. Is there a legal ground for our case?

Thanks

HK

You need to seek the advice of a civil litigation attorney experienced in Florida condo law. Good luck.
