Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

potential buyer termination 3 days prior to end of commitment date

Had mortgage company try to sercure loan for home because of credit and other curcumstances we were told obtaining loan might be difficult. A closing date was never determined and termination of commitment was three days away and numerous documents that would take time to produce were requested and could not be supplied by time frame that was asked we in turn terminated working with mortgage company. Are we responsible for any fee to mortgage company?
