Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Pregnancy and Foreclosure

I have heard that a woman cannot be evicted from her home if she is pregnant. Is this true? And, if so, does this hold true if her home is being foreclosed upon?

A. Foreclosure is an equitable action which means

the judge is supposed to do the right thing. It

would be up to the judge to decide. The judge could

take your pregnancy into consideration in deciding

when the foreclosure would be decided and the sale

held and possession delivered.
