Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Property donation

Hello,

We are a registered 501C non profit organization. We have a family in NH that want to donate a parcel of land valued at $8,000 to our non-profit organization in Florida.

What is the process? If they sent the deed, survey and a quitclaim deed, will this be all we need to accept the property donation?

That's all you need under Florida law (actually, the quitclaim is all you need under Florida law), but you should check with a New Hampshire lawyer to see what's required there if the property is located there and not in Florida.
