Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Property issues

Hello,

I live in a non-deed restricted subdivision. I have two 3-story sweet gum trees that shed millions of leaves Aug thru Feb. Many leaves fall into the neighbors yard. He in turn spends hours blowing them back into my yard. Are the leaves all my responsbility? Am I being a bad neighbor.

Secondly, I find objects in my yards

from the same neighbor that could

ruin expensive equipment used by the lawn service. Would I have a remedy for any damage? They have nothing so I don't think small claims court would help.

Thank you.

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

First, I think you are being a bad neighbor if your trees shed "millions of leaves August thru February" into your neighbor's lawn and do not offer to take any responsibility. By blowing them back into your yard, your neighbor has certainly let you know of his/her discontent. A good neighbor would offer a solution to help mediate the problem he causes.

You did not explain the objects you find in your yard. Without knowing more, I am unable to voice any comments on this part of your question.
