Property leins
Can i put a lein on property owned by a corp. That owes me money for purchasing my shares that i had invested in it?

You first need to file suit, prove that you are owed money, which would likely lead to a final money judgment, and only then would you be able to record the judgment and place a lien on the property owned by the judgment debtor. Seek the advice of counsel and good luck.

You would have to file a lawsuit first to acquire a judgment that could then be used as a lien.

You must first sue them and obtain a judgment. The judgment can be filed as a lien.
