Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

property lines

I removed overgrown bamboo on neighbors property about 15 feet past property line. they are now suing, what legal ramification do they have? I removed this overgrowth because it damaged my fence and was becoming a nusance on my property. i replaced my fence in the process it is the only fence dividing the two properties.

You did not have the right to go on your neighbor's property and removed any vegetation. You may face penalties as a result in a court equal to the cost of the plants which you removed or the cost to replace them including labor.
