Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Property transferred without knowledge

Upon receiving a property tax bill, I found out my son had signed a Warranty Deed for his property over to me without my knowledge. It has been recorded in Brevard County. He has several liens against the property and put a clause in that I was not responsible for taxes prior to Dec 31, 2005. His wife had no knowledge he had done this either. I dont want the property or the tax bill. I would think he would have to have my signature to do this. What recourse do I have.

Re: Property transferred without knowledge

He does not need your signature. If you do not want it, you will need a court order to vacate.
