Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Purchase of Land and House To Be Built

We signed contract and gave deposit on property and house to be built in new subdivision. We circled lot on map provided to us at time of contract signing by builder as part of the contract. The site map was incorrect, never filed with city and the lot is actually 669 sq ft smaller than info provided to us and now very pie shaped because of less land at frontage...it now has the smallest frontage in the subdivision. A newer site plan was actually filed with the city which I found on the property appraiser's website and we were never notified of different site plan. The old site plan is still on the builder/developer's website even today. What are we entitled to for the error made by the builder/developer? Can we force him to modify the site back to what we purchased under contract? Are we entitled to compensation for loss of land value if we cannot get the original site plan?
