Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I purchased a condo in florida from an hoa foreclosure for the back dues. I ordered a title search (have not received it yet). Taylor bean was the original mortgage holder. How do I clear the title when there is nobody to talk to?

An action to quiet title is the remedy.

Buy Title Insurance from an Atty. Agent or Title Company. If there is a title defect, they should pay to correct it. If you can not buy title ins., then get a Real Estate Atty. that knows his stuff. You may find that the Title is clouded. Atty. Slater may be right. It may take a Quiet Title Action.
