Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I purchased a home that is currently under construction. The neighbor has his mailbox directly in front of my house - I assume it was there when the land was vacant. He has a large lot and plenty of room in front of his house. He said he didn't have to move it b/c the property by the street is public. Do I have any recourse? I have to have his mailbox in front of my house? I don't even know where to put my mailbox now.

Generally based on the facts you provided, he will have to move the mailbox.

I doubt it is public. Check your survey.
