Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
We purchased a home from a HOA and City Bank gave us a release of the mortgage that they said they were currently holding. They also registered the release of mortgage with the County Courts. Months later we found out that they had assigned the mortgage to a servicing company who then foreclosed on the property from the Lis Pendens from City Bank. What recourse do we have??

Seek some legal guidance. You should have had an attorney when you purchased the property make sure that all liens were properly resolved.
