Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

i purchased a home through a real estate broker and was not informed of the multiple problems that would occur since the purchase date.

because this was my first purchase, i was not aware of the extent of a home inspection and was not told of the faulty plumbing, the rodents living in my attic (accessible from unsecured piping, from an added on room), faulty a/c unit and the list goes on and on!

in the begininng (before i was aware i had purchased a "money pit") i posted compliments on his web site.

can i now ask my comments to be removed and replaced with what really happened without facing any legalities?

this piece of crap is a disaster, and i am stuck with paying for a home that was not represented truthfully.

If you can prove that the Realtor "represented" the condition of the property, you may have recourse. But if you were given the opportunity to have a home inspection, and you didn't, or you "hired" your uncle Joe, and he did a crappy job, or if you hired a licensed inspector, but you didn't attend the inspection, or read the report....then you have no one to blame but yourself.

You can post whatever you want, providing that it is the truth. Be careful about misrpresenting or disparaging the Realtor's business practices, or you could find yourself defending in a slander suit.
