I purchased a home on my own as a single woman and the owners financed for 5 years can I now add my fiancee's name to the deed? the mortgage says no assumptions are allowed...

Hi. Adding an owner doesn't legally make them responsible for the mortgage, however, you may still be violating the terms of your mortgage. You might check with the lender prior to adding. Also, you might think twice about adding your finace to the deed for other reasons. For example, once you add him, he is an owner and you might have to split proceeds with him if you decide to sell.
