Hi everyone i have a question. I just bought a used pontoon boat the add stated that it was a 2005 sun tracker with a 2005 mercury outboard engine. The add also stated the boat was water ready. I brought the boat home the steering cable was broken the engine wont pee and it is a 1999 mercury. i have already put $300 into this boat and now i hear water in the pontoon and the engine isnt running do i have any recourse. I will also add that i am a handicapped woman in a wheelchair and he told me not to worry about anything but the steering.I cant even take my boat out and im so upset. Please help with advice. Thank-you

Your paperwork controls, if any was executed. The ad does not necessarily form part of your bargain. IF you bought it "as is" than you may be stuck with the bargain. If there was fraud in the inducement of the sale, than you may have other claims against the seller. Seek some legal advice with all your paperwork.
