Can a quit claim avoid a deficiency judgement from a foreclosure if a name is not on the mortgage but on the title?

huh? a quit claim deed cannot avoid a deficiency judgment. that said, the individual to be responsible for a deficiency judgment must be on the mortgage and personal responsible for payment of the underlying debt.
