Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Quit claim deed and creation of life tenancy
in submitting a quit claim deed to transfer property is it legally sufficient to include a paragraph that states '' Grantor retains a life tenancy in the aforementioned property for as long as the Grantor resides on the property.'' to create a life tenancy for the grantor. If not, what would be the legally correct statement to create the life tenancy. Thank you.

It should work.

Don't listen to the other two attorneys. They do not know what they are talking about. You will end up in court on this one if you do what you propose. The language about living on the property is what fouls this up.
