quit claim deed individual to LLC
I have formed an LLC here in Florida. I am a physician who has purchased vacant land to build on within a year or two. I personally own the land currently. I was told I needed to file a quitclaim deed to transfer the property to my LLC. I have successfully completed the form.
Do I need to prepare a warranty deed? There are no liens, the land is paid for. Are there any other forms I need to take to the clerk of courts? any info appreciated. Thanks.

No warranty deed is needed since you are essentially tranferring to yourself. A tax form will also have to be filed. Ask the county clerk for one. Good luck.

A Quit Claim Deed is sufficient to transfer title to the property. The clerk will also require a DR-306 Return for Transfer of Real Property. The form is generally available at the clerk's office. This forms lists the amount paid for the purchase/transfer so that the Department of Revenue can collect the proper amount of documentary stamps.
