Quit Claim Deed

I would like to move my property into a LLC. Is a Quit Claim Deed sufficient and what is the process for filing the document.

A Quit-Claim Deed will work. You should get an accountant to set up the LLC books, and a lawyer to form the LLC. You will have to pay documentary stamp tax on the conveyance.

Re: Quit Claim Deed

Transferring the property is relatively simple and can be accomplished with a Quit Claim Deed, but there are a wide range of issues that need to be considered before doing so. For instance, you need to consider the tax consequences of doing so, then you must consider insurance and title issues. I am willing to prepare the documents and examine the transaction for $250.
