Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have quit claim on our family home. My ex husband has name on mortgage alone. He has been MIA for years. He just filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and will not share any information with me. He revoked the POA with the bank. Can I still legally sell this home so I don't loose all this equity I paid in?

If you are the only owner of the home, you can transfer it. The issue may be the quit claim deed and whether it properly transferred whatever interest he had. No questions can be answered without reviewing the actual deeds and paperwork. Seek legal assistance, you really need an attorney to assist you through the sale.
