Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
I quit claimed my mother on my dee but she is not on the mortgage. My home is currently in foreclosure, the realtor found a buyer and the bank bank has approved a short sale. We are ready to close and my mother's boyfriend told her not to sign unless she gets paid to do so. Since the bank is accepting 100k less than I owe, I want to proceed and save my credit. We have to close by 4/18 what can I do?

That is a problem.
The only advice I can give is if your morther does not sign the deed, it will force both of you into a foreclosure. Because her name is on the deed, she will be named in the lawsuit and served papers which she may wish to avoid.
If she defends it, she may have to hire, at her expense, a lawyer.
