Quit claim/Names on mortgage

My exhusband has signed quit claim on the home/property in which I reside with the children. His name is still on the mortgage. Do I need to refiance to have his name removed from the mortgage or is it a mute point since he now has no ''claim'' to the property?

Do nothing unless refinancing will be at a meaningful lower rate.
