I bought a home from a man who had power of attorney of his dads assets when he passed the son quit claimed to himself sold it to me 2 1/2 years ago i went to sell and they said the title wasnt clear that it wasnt legal for him to do. He had 7 kids the money was divided among them from the sale by the son. Is this true all docs are filed at polk county

If he Quit claimed after the father passed then there could be a problem with clear title. A Power of Attorney automatically expires upon the death of the father. Once the father passed away the property should probably have gone through probate.

If the father's estate was never probated that will likely have to be done. If the estate was probated and now closed it will likely have to be reopened and the property will have to go through probate then signed over to you.
