Real Estate - Deed

My fiance died 5 yrs ago and his name is on my home deed. He did not leave a will and there was no probate. He did leave me a letter stating the house is mine. How do I remove his name from the title?

Sorry but his estate must be probated, his appointed personal representative can then sign a deed.
