Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I replaced a patio that the hurricane blew off, to the specifications. Other homeowners have replaced there patios. The association says demolish. The contractor builds patios in the complex and said there was never a proplem, as long as specifications are met. Where do I stand?
