Real Estate

Can I legally raffle off my home? If so, what are the neccessary steps that I need to follow?

I live in Florida. Thank you in advance for your help.

Respectfully,

Andrew

No. A raffle is a form of gambling. The State of Florida tends to look the other way for a charity but would take a raffle of a home very seriously if done by an individual. You could face criminal charges as well the forfeiture of your home and any monies collected in the worst case scenario.
