My mother and I own a home. She has told someone that she has had her name taken off the deed and had my brother's put in her place. Is this legal. We live in Florida.

It depends on how they were listed on the title. Most likely that transfer is legal, but you should consult with an attorney to explain to you the ramifacations of the transfer and what remedies, if any, are available to you.

now. It is possible she could have transfered the deed to anyone via a quitclaim deed.If you need my assistance call me or send me an e-mail.This would change who you hold title to real property inwhich you are involved.If she died you would have to deal with ? this new owner.
