I offered to purchase a home for 85,000 with owner financing 3,000 cash down and 42,000 down spread over 5 years that was agreed upon in principle. now the selller wants to call the the total monthly amount of 1400 rent for 5 years reducing the price to 40,000 after that. how can i protect myself if i agree this?
