Re real estate property
My wife passed away she had not updated her will, the house and mortgage is under her name the family want's me to have the house whatare the steps that need to be taken to put it under my name thanks

This will require you to probate her will. You need to contact a probate attorney to handle it for you. If she had no other creditors and this is the only thing in her name alone, it can be done through a summary probate and should not cost more than $1,000. Please contact me if I can be of assistance.

The will must be probated and a PR appointed to convey title.
