Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

real estate question

I have a lein on my home from a company that put in new cabinets. The quality of work is horrendous and I have refused to pay. The cabinet company is suing me for 45% more than the quote and there is no contract. What can I do? Also, the lein was placed on my home well past the window of opportunity for the cabinet company to do it and no notice to owner was sent.

Re: real estate question

You should speak to a real estate lawyer, who can help you file an objection to the lien. You should do this quickly, because there are certain time limits to complete this.
