Real Estate - Quit Claim Deed

I divorced, and signed a quit claim to my wife giving her the house. I thought that was it,but now I find I am still on the note and responsible for the loan. How can I get off the note. She can not re-finance, and does not meet income to just have me taken off.

until you pay off the loan, you cannot get off the note.
