I am ready to do to the closing on selling my home & now I find out I will have to bring $ to close which I do not have, what would happen if I do not honor the contract to sell my home, would there be any legal ramnifications to me?

An attorney would need to see your agreement to be certain of your legal position. It shouldn't cost you much to find out.
