Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

In a real estate transaction, is a jet ski dock which is located at the end of a dock, considered a fixture? The dock itself is not attached to the dock, but there are pipes that go down through the jet ski dock into the ground which are held in place by U-bolts attached to the dock. The owner of the home we are purchasing is stating they are taking it, we feel it is a fixture and should be coming with the property.

I agree with you as it is affixed to your dock. Good luck.

The contract controls. It should have been specified, if not you will have an argument you need to make. I would suggest you need to get an attorney.
