I am a Trustee in my Step-father's will and he has left me his house in the will. He now wants to give me the house and we need to know how he can do this and wilkl I have to pay taxes on this gift?

There are many ways to convey real property and yes, gifts of real property are taxable.

This is not really a question that can be answered in broad terms. I would suggest sitting down with an estate planner or real estate attorney to determine the best method to convery your father's property taking into account all of your specific needs and concerns.
