I own a property and moved out and allowed my aunt to move into the property. The HOA is saying that now I must pay a $3000 deposit to allow her to live there. They have contacted a lawyer and he contaacted me and said that if I do not pay they will evict my tenant. Is this legal if I have a lease agreement with my aunt?
